Overview

UN Regulation No 159 lays down uniform provisions for the approval of motor vehicles with regard to the Moving Off Information System (MOIS) for the detection of pedestrians and cyclists. The system detects pedestrians and cyclists in the close-proximity forward blind spot, informs the driver and, if deemed necessary under the manufacturer's strategy, warns of a potential collision.
