General
Velocert is a technical service appointed by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology, providing type approval, homologation and testing services for Türkiye and European markets.
Process
We start with a scoping call, confirm applicable regulations and the approval route, plan tests and document reviews, carry out inspections and witness testing, then submit the technical report to the approval authority for certification.
Scope
Velocert is designated with full scope for M, N and O categories under EU 2018/858, and supports L-category vehicles under EU 168/2013.
Timing & fees
It depends on the route and the regulations involved. You receive a timeline with the fixed quotation before any test begins.
